COZ WITHOUT LOVE I WONT SURVIVE
Love hurts But sometimes it's a good hurt And it feels like I'm alive Love sings When it transcends the bad things Have a heart and try me 'cause without love I won't survive
Hmm...Lines from a song by Incubus..and how true..
Someone has said of us humans, love is our very constitution and hatred or despise is only the momentary lack of love, a similar theory that explains that darkness is the mere absence of light and hence has no existence in real terms. It is probably the same theory that explains why, despite having risen and fallen in love time and again, we tend to look for love again.
Suddenly being single after being in relationship/s for several years, it may be devastating in the first phase, stagnant in the next, liberating in the third, and even if someone is indepedent, financially or otherwise, there still seems to be a void somewhere. It feels a bit strange to be living for yourself after your life has revolved around someone else for so long. Perhaps that's the void that we try to complete by stretching ourselves into that empty space, trying our best to shrug our shoulders and say 'I complete myself', in the process giving ourselves so much self importance so as to feign we don't need anyone. But anyone who says he is happy living alone is either ignorant or lying.
'cause without love we won't survive
