I live by the day
Can't think no more
Ain't no nerves to fray

All black all white
No shades of grey
Coz grey's what drives
All reason away

Why me? why me?
I cry no more
All's for ma good
I rest assured

I have figured it out;
the easy way -
Ask for nothing
And your smile shall stay

One day at a time
Is how I see it
If tomorrow sees the light
Well so be it

Who can say?
Not me for sure
His will would be mine
I"ll have to endure

And while at this stage
Life comes undone
I realise my time
Will wait for none
